Recently I was out doing some shopping on a beautiful warm and sunny day here in Dallas. I was at a new bustling shopping plaza that was filled with a variety of shops and restaurants. As I walked past a well-lit candy shop I stopped in my tracks. While most of the new stores in the shopping center had massive signs with endless information about their products, services, and upcoming sales in the window, this little candy shop had the audacity to have one small simple sign.  

It read, "Candy Samples" with an arrow pointing towards the front door of the shop and underneath those words, it said "No Candy Samples" with an arrow pointing towards the curb.  

This was a brilliant marketing message!
